So here at Monmouth Dental Arts, we do full gamut of restorative dentistry that includes crowns and bridges. With crowns and bridges, we do have an intraoral scanner, which is a three-dimensional scanner for the set of traditional gloopy impressions. Once we’re done preparing the teeth for the crown and bridge, we take a scan.
You can see it on the screen instantly and it gets sent to the lab instantly. Easier process for the patient, easier process for the lab as well. It’s very important for us to restore our teeth back to a normal functional shape and position in order to properly chew on them.
But also, very important for myself, the patient, and everyone that sees the patient is a proper aesthetic outcome as well. So we take aesthetics very highly here at Monmouth Dental Arts for our crown and bridge case and everything else that we do in the dental office in order to make sure the patient’s happy functionally and aesthetically.
